About the role
Engineering team at HappyFox builds and scales backend services for its product suite. The Technical Lead drives architecture, mentors engineers, and ensures high‑quality code through CI/CD and code reviews. Works onsite in Bengaluru, collaborating with the Engineering Manager to ship stable software on schedule.
What you’ll do
- Lead a team of engineers on product roadmap initiatives
- Contribute hands‑on to feature development
- Oversee software architecture, source control, CI/CD and code reviews
- Define and uphold coding standards and best practices
- Own stability and performance of assigned services
- Collaborate with Engineering Manager to deliver stable releases
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years professional software development
- 2+ years technical lead experience designing complex backend systems
- Proficiency in Python or Node.js with Django or Express.js
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB
- Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP or Azure
- Linux/UNIX production environment expertise
- Engineering degree (B.E. Computer Science preferred)
