About the role

The Senior Analyst - Logistics AU role supports the Logistics ANZ team in ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective fuel distribution across Australia. Based in Pune, India, this hybrid position involves managing freight rates, financial forecasting, and commercial analysis to optimize network performance. The analyst collaborates with carriers, sales, and finance stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

• Manage freight rate requests, validations, and tender outcomes via Salesforce.
• Calculate and distribute monthly fuel issue rates using approved methodologies.
• Build and maintain logistics financial forecasts and annual planning models.
• Develop Power BI reports to provide actionable insights on logistics trends.
• Review carrier freight rates to ensure alignment with contractual agreements.
• Validate freight costs and resolve payment discrepancies with finance teams.
• Assess logistics costs and risks for new customer tenders and opportunities.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify cost-optimization and operational improvements.

What you’ll bring

• Graduate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Data, Analytics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations including transportation and distribution.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with SAP (PRE/Ariba) and Salesforce is desirable.
• Knowledge of logistics operations, freight pricing, and carrier management.
• Ability to build and maintain large datasets and analytical models.
