About the role
Mapping Operations team at Waymo builds and validates high-definition maps for autonomous driving. The Senior Program Manager leads a large production team, partners with cross‑functional stakeholders and vendors to drive operational excellence, process improvements, and strategic initiatives. Hyderabad, India, on-site role with occasional travel to the US.
What you’ll do
- Drive operational excellence across vendor teams and ensure SLAs are met
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
- Lead strategic tooling, process, and infrastructure projects
- Manage large projects from concept to launch coordinating with engineering, product, and operations
- Monitor and communicate project progress to leadership
- Mentor and provide managerial support for junior team members
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's Degree in technical or business discipline
- 12+ years of program management experience
- 4+ years people management experience
- experience managing scaled vendor operations
- SQL or Dremel scripting familiarity
