About the role

Paytm's EDC Retail team seeks an Area Sales Manager to drive EDC machine sales to merchants across multiple locations in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The role involves building and leading a team, setting goals, overseeing daily operations, and resolving merchant queries while expanding the engaged merchant base. This is an on-site, full-time position requiring graduation or post-graduation.

• Create an inspiring team environment with open communication
• Drive swiping device sales in the assigned area
• Resolve merchant queries and drive overall engaged merchant base
• Oversee day-to-day operations and monitor team performance
• Report on metrics and identify training needs to provide coaching
• Listen to team feedback and resolve issues or conflicts
• Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
• Encourage creativity, risk-taking, and organize team-building activities
