Staff Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

Reltio, an SAP company, empowers data leaders with its AI-powered Data Cloud to transform siloed information into unified intelligence. As a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer in Bangalore, you will embed with strategic customers to design and ship agentic workflows, write production code, and drive end-to-end delivery from discovery to rollout. This role combines technical execution with customer-facing advisory duties to shape the product roadmap.

What you’ll do

• Own full delivery cycle: discovery, technical scoping, agent design, implementation, rollout support, and enablement
• Design and implement robust agentic workflows using Reltio’s Agent Flow platform integrating with core systems
• Build production-grade components with observability, error handling, fallback strategies, and security controls
• Leverage automated evaluation frameworks and monitoring dashboards to measure agent accuracy and reliability
• Encode successful patterns into templates, connectors, and reference implementations for internal reuse
• Synthesize customer learnings and field signals into feedback that shapes product roadmap and strategy
• Serve as trusted advisor to enterprise leaders on data strategy, automation, and governance
• Partner with Product to define POC feature requirements and acceptance criteria for agentic solutions

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years building/shipping production tech in customer-facing roles (solutions engineering, consulting, applied engineering)
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript/Java
• Experience deploying LLM- or agentic systems (prompting, orchestration, evaluation, guardrails)
• Experience with telemetry/observability tooling and production monitoring frameworks
• Familiarity with responsible AI practices and enterprise data governance (GDPR, HIPAA)
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, containerization, and distributed services
