About the role

Data Intelligence Hub (DIH) at Augury builds the next‑gen Industrial Data Intelligence platform, a contextual layer connecting machine health, operational and enterprise data on a Digital Twin backbone. As a Software Data Engineer you will design end‑to‑end data flows, build reliable Python services and streaming pipelines, model contextual relationships, and partner with platform and AI teams to power AI‑native experiences. Bengaluru, India, on‑site, relocation available.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines from ingestion to storage
• Build clean, maintainable Python services with robust testing
• Model machine, line and factory context for AI‑driven queries
• Partner with platform and AI teams to define data storage and APIs
• Implement observability, monitoring and backfill strategies
• Develop streaming‑first architectures using lakehouse and messaging tech
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure data quality and reliability
• Contribute to design and code reviews to raise engineering standards

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years software development experience
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with streaming/messaging systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
• Familiarity with lakehouse technologies (Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark)
• Strong data modeling and schema design
• Excellent communication and collaboration across distributed teams
