About the role

Finance Data and AI (DnA) team at Google builds AI-native workflows to modernize finance processes. The Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer leads technical design and deployment of multi‑agent AI solutions, builds and scales end‑to‑end models and agentic systems, and ensures reliability and auditability for finance professionals. Bengaluru office, on‑site work model, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

  • Lead technical design of multi‑agent workflows using ML and Gemini LLMs
  • Build, prototype, and scale AI agents for finance use cases
  • Design and deploy high‑availability model endpoints with monitoring and guardrails
  • Implement evaluation frameworks to mitigate hallucinations and bias
  • Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and finance stakeholders to translate problems into specifications
  • Provide technical leadership to unblock integration hurdles

What you’ll bring

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Sciences or equivalent
  • 4+ years experience with Python, R, SQL and analytics
  • Full‑stack development for end‑to‑end ML solutions

Nice to have

  • 8+ years full‑stack ML development
  • Experience building production‑ready agentic tools
  • Experience with LLMs/Generative AI and classical ML models

Education

Master's degree in a quantitative discipline
