About the role
PLM Physical Product group (Digital function) at Airbus builds and operates PLM solutions for physical product lifecycle. The Senior Group Manager leads the India team, sets strategy, drives continuous improvement, manages budget and performance, and ensures SLA compliance across global stakeholders. Bangalore, on-site role with occasional travel to Europe.
What you’ll do
- Lead PLM Physical Product India team and sub‑groups
- Manage day‑to‑day operations, process improvement and performance management
- Oversee budget, SLA/OLA compliance and global stakeholder alignment
- Act as bridge between Europe and India teams
- Drive recruitment, training and career development
- Conduct operational reviews and escalation management
- Coordinate global partners and working groups
- Promote a collaborative, agile culture
What you’ll bring
- 15+ years experience in Engineering & PLM software
- Leadership and project management skills
- Experience setting up and managing operations teams
- Business/affairs management
- Ability to engage and motivate teams
- Building new teams and defining roadmaps in Digital PLM
- Knowledge of Aerospace PLM applications
- ITIL or PMP certification
