About the role

The Analytics team within IQVIA’s Patient Access & Support Services (PASS) group in Bangalore, India, delivers healthcare insights and analysis to clients using IQVIA’s large healthcare data assets and proprietary claims engine. As a PASS Data Analyst, you will leverage Excel and SQL to surface trends and actionable recommendations, build PowerBI reporting and forecasting tools, evaluate secondary market and patient data, and create reports and presentations for client deliverables. You will collaborate with account management, coordinate client analytics needs for scheduled and ad hoc requests, present to clients via teleconference or in person, and progressively take ownership of projects and mentor junior colleagues. The role requires a willingness to travel as needed (under 10% on average).

What you’ll do

  • Leverage skills in Excel and SQL to yield trends, conclusions, and actionable recommendations for clients
  • Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions and collaborate with account management team members throughout client engagements
  • Evaluate secondary data on markets, physicians, patients, and pharmacies
  • Develop and work with reporting tools such as PowerBI to derive insights and forecasting
  • Coordinate directly with clients and through the PSS account team to manage analytics needs for scheduled and ad hoc requests
  • Create reports, presentations, and other client deliverables
  • Present to client audiences via teleconference, videoconference, or in face-to-face meetings
  • Build professional relationships with internal and external members of the client team and proactively develop knowledge of the healthcare industry and client engagement methodologies

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum of at least 3 years' experience in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong analytical record with excellent problem-solving abilities and strong quantitative skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and proven team contributor
  • Good project management, time management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral)
  • Interest in and desire to learn about the constantly evolving healthcare industry
  • Willingness or ability to travel as needed (under 10% on average)
  • Ability to leverage Excel and SQL to yield trends, conclusions, and actionable recommendations
