About the role

SYSTRA India is hiring an INTERFACE Engineer-K5 for the General Consultant role on Mumbai Metro Line 5, 7A, and 9 System Works. The role supports SYSTRA's systems business in railway equipment, power supply, and traction design by coordinating integrated project delivery and applying industry best practices. Based in New Delhi - Faridabad, HR, IN, this full-time on-site position focuses on interface management within a culturally diverse organization.

What you’ll do

• Support the General Consultant role for System Works of Mumbai Metro Line 5, 7A, and 9
• Coordinate interface activities across railway equipment, power supply, and traction design domains
• Apply industry best practices in an integrated project delivery environment
• Lead team efforts and make independent decisions to resolve interface issues
• Troubleshoot technical and coordination challenges across project stakeholders
• Contribute to design review and detailed project report activities for metro system works

What you’ll bring

• Graduate or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences
• Ability to problem solve in an integrated project delivery environment using industry best practices
• Self-motivated with outstanding leadership skills and ability to influence without authority
• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead a team effort and make independent decisions
• Good troubleshooter
