Deputy Chief Expert - RAMS

About the role

SYSTRA India is hiring a Deputy Chief Expert – RAMS for its Project Management Consultancy Services on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project, covering Signalling & Telecommunication, SCADA, and Ticketing Systems. Reporting to the Chief Expert – RAMS, the role leads RAMS review across all lifecycle phases, collects and analyses system performance data, provides inputs to improve RAMS parameters, proof-checks verification and validation reports, assists NHSRCL with statutory approvals, and coordinates with agencies such as ISA and CMRS. The position also stands in for the Chief Expert – OCC during absence. Based in Ahmedabad/Delhi, the role is on-site.

What you’ll do

• Review of RAMS of systems under its scope during all life cycle phases
• Collection and analysis of system performance data for RAMS measurement
• Providing inputs for improvement of RAMS parameters
• Proof checking of verification and validation reports of RAMS of different sub components
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals (as applicable)
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project
• Perform any other roles and responsibilities required to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client (NHSRCL)
• Stand in for all roles and responsibilities of the Chief Expert - OCC during his absence

What you’ll bring

• Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent)
• Overall 15 years experience (Engineering Graduate) or 18 years (Engineering Diploma) in Railways/Metro
• 08 years of experience in management of RAMS/System Assurance during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)
• Experience limited to High-Speed Railways (ETCS based, ≥250 Kmph), Semi High-Speed Railways (≥160 Kmph), or Metro Railways (excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail)
• Ability to review RAMS of systems across all life cycle phases
• Ability to collect and analyse system performance data for RAMS measurement
• Ability to proof-check verification and validation reports of RAMS for different sub components
• Ability to assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals and coordinate with agencies such as ISA and CMRS
