Roku seeks a Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning to build cutting‑edge ad tech infrastructure, develop ML models, engineer features, and optimize production systems.
What you’ll do
- Build ML infrastructure for model lifecycle management
- Engineer features for multiple use cases
- Train models using Decision Trees, Logistic Regression, Neural Networks, Bayesian Analysis
- Debug, measure performance, optimize production clusters
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, engineers
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in CS, Stats, or related field
- Applied ML experience on real use cases; ad tech a bonus
- Strong coding & software dev skills; Spark, Python, Java
- Real-time model evaluation with low latency
- Distributed ML frameworks: Spark-MLlib, TensorFlow
- Large-scale computing, data analysis, modeling; Spark, Hive, NoSQL
- Ad tech background a plus
- AI growth mindset / AI literacy
