About the role
Fund Accounting team at Apex Fund Services provides comprehensive private equity fund administration and reporting. The Senior Fund Accountant leads client service for LPs and GPs, oversees quarterly and annual US GAAP/IFRS financial statements, and drives audit coordination and process improvements. Bangalore, India, on-site role with hybrid flexibility as needed.
What you’ll do
- Serve as key contact for LPs, GPs, and Investor Relations teams
- Maintain high-touch communication on capital calls, distributions, valuations
- Partner with Deal Teams, Legal, Compliance, Tax, and auditors
- Lead audit coordination and issue resolution
- Oversee quarterly and annual financial statements
- Review and approve capital activity and ensure compliance
- Support valuation processes under ASC 820/IFRS 13
- Implement internal controls and monitor reconciliations
- Identify and execute process improvements
- Mentor and develop a team of analysts
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years private equity fund accounting
- CPA/ACA preferred
- Expertise US GAAP/IFRS
- Experience with waterfall mechanics and investor economics
- Proficiency Investran, eFront, Allvue, Yardi
- Workiva reporting tools
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication skills
