About the role
Fund Accounting team at Ares Management supports the Real Estate Private Equity business, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. The role performs quarterly close processes, reviews GAAP statements, manages cash flow projections, and liaises with internal and external stakeholders across India, US, and UK. What you’ll do
- Perform quarterly close and review work of external administrators
- Review GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures
- Calculate management fees, waterfall, AUM, NAV
- Produce cash flow projections and manage daily cash activities
- Monitor compliance with partnership agreements and credit facilities
- Prepare ad-hoc limited partner reports and front‑office requests
- Assist tax team with quarterly estimates and annual returns
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and valuation processes
What you’ll bring
- 6-9 years experience
- Chartered Accountant/CPA/MBA Finance
- Knowledge of private equity structures
- Big-4 accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with Advent Geneva or Investran
- Power BI knowledge
- JIRA familiarity
