Managing Consultant, Data Management

About the role

Consulting Delivery Hub (CDH) at ERM supports global sustainability consulting by delivering high‑quality environmental data solutions. The Managing Consultant leads data management initiatives, overseeing EQuIS and Locus platforms, designing dashboards, and ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance. Works with project managers, scientists, labs and clients to deliver scalable data services. New Delhi and Bangalore, on‑site, hybrid model with office presence as required.

What you’ll do

• Lead and improve environmental data management workflows and QA/QC processes
• Oversee data loading, validation, dashboard development and data migration
• Coordinate with project managers, laboratories and technical teams for deliverables
• Develop SOPs, technical standards and training materials
• Mentor junior staff and facilitate cross‑team communication
• Drive development of new data services and automated workflows

What you’ll bring

• 8-12 years environmental data management experience
• Advanced proficiency with EarthSoft EQuIS platforms
• SQL Server and Microsoft Access expertise
• Power BI, Power Query and Power Automate skills
• GIS tools such as ArcGIS, Leapfrog, EVS
• Python or R programming knowledge
• Proven project leadership and client advisory
• Experience supporting global consulting projects

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Analytics or related field
