About the role

Cloud Engineering and Operations team at Eurofins Scientific builds and maintains highly available Azure cloud platforms. The Azure Cloud Engineer (SRE) designs, automates, and operates AKS clusters, implements IaC with Bicep, and develops self‑service tooling using PowerShell and Python. Works on Azure services, monitoring, and incident response while collaborating with developers and security teams. Bangalore, hybrid model with 3 days onsite, remote flexibility for the rest of the week.

What you’ll do

• Operate and optimize production AKS clusters
• Develop automation frameworks and self‑service tools
• Implement infrastructure as code for Azure resources
• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability
• Participate in on‑call rotations and incident management
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization
• Create and update runbooks, architecture diagrams, and documentation
• Collaborate with development, security, and architecture teams

What you’ll bring

• 4-8 years of SRE experience
• Hands‑on AKS and Kubernetes cluster management
• Strong PowerShell and Python scripting
• IaC using Bicep
• Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline development
• Azure monitoring with Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
• Experience with Azure networking and security services
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) preferred
