About the role

Messaging - Engagement & Automations Engineering team builds scalable web applications and backend services that power global marketing and customer engagement for Warner Bros. Discovery. As a Software Engineer II you will design, develop, and maintain Node.js/TypeScript APIs, MongoDB databases, and AWS serverless solutions while collaborating with product, design, and frontend teams. Hyderabad office, hybrid work model, with opportunities to contribute to high‑impact commerce platforms.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js/TypeScript
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
• Optimize MongoDB databases and data models
• Develop and deploy serverless functions on AWS
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices
• Collaborate with frontend teams on React applications
• Produce technical documentation and design artifacts
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and engineering excellence initiatives

What you’ll bring

• 3-5 years software development experience
• Strong hands‑on Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience building REST APIs
• MongoDB schema design and optimization
• 2+ years AWS and serverless architecture
• CI/CD pipeline and DevOps practices
• Agile/Scrum environment experience
• Fluent English communication
