DevOps Engineer
About the role
The DevOps Engineer will lead cloud platform automation and DevOps initiatives for Photon Group in India. Working closely with program leads, architects, and data scientists across global locations, the role involves estimating automation projects, designing and building infrastructure and release pipelines on Azure, and configuring DevSecOps workflows. The engineer will mentor junior talent, act as a subject‑matter expert on DevOps trends, and drive best practices in CI/CD, containerization, and security. Strong experience with Azure IaaS, Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages is required, along with proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, and container orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes. Certifications in Azure and Hashicorp are preferred. The position is full‑time, on‑site in India, with a senior‑level experience requirement of 6‑10 years.
What you’ll do
- Estimate and propose Cloud Platform automation and DevOps initiatives.
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure automation, build, deploy, and release pipelines.
- Configure DevSecOps pipelines and mentor junior talent across global teams.
- Serve as SME on DevOps trends, technologies, and architectural concepts.
What you’ll bring
- 6-10 years DevOps experience with Azure cloud platforms.
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Nice to have
- AZ-303, AZ-304, AZ-400, AZ-500, Hashicorp Associate Certified.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Nexus, SonarQube.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security tooling.
