About the role
SBI Card is a leading pure-play credit card issuer in India, and this Manager - Vendor Management, Collection Telecalling role manages channel partners handling telecalling responsibilities for the assigned Collections portfolio. Day-to-day work includes executing collection strategy, monitoring vendor performance, segmenting portfolios for dialer prioritization, conducting call sampling and audits, managing agency payouts, and ensuring compliance and system uptime. The position is based in Gurugram, India.
What you’ll do
- Execute collection strategy for the site, track performance and give inputs to PM
- Monitor channel partner performance through a structured review mechanism and ensure appropriate capacity planning
- Review portfolio both qualitatively and quantitatively at account/NRR/Region/Channel level to identify gaps/issues
- Strategise and segment portfolio churning on dialer prioritizing at various cuts to improve efficiencies and performances
- Conduct call sampling across portfolio segments and share observations on call and portfolio quality with concerned stakeholders
- Manage uptime for all SBI Card collection systems at the vendor site and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure business continuity
- Identify portfolio segments for initiation of legal approaches and attend all camps as required
- Ensure necessary training/certifications for tele calling staff in line with compliance requirements
What you’ll bring
- Post-Graduate/Graduate in any discipline
- Overall experience of 5-8 years with relevant team handling/domain experience of 3-6 years
- Credit card knowledge along with good understanding of collection processes
- Knowledge of dialer strategies
- Experience of managing large distributed vendor teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills
