About the role

Technology team at TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES LTD. builds data and analytics solutions on Snowflake. The Snowflake Architect designs optimized data models, integrates multiple data sources, establishes governance and performance tuning, and leads workshops and mentorship. Mumbai, on-site.

What you’ll do

• Conduct workshops with business and IT stakeholders to capture data and analytics requirements
• Design optimized Snowflake data models and schemas
• Integrate Snowflake with on‑prem databases, APIs, Azure/AWS services, and Kafka/ETL tools
• Establish governance and security standards including RBAC, SSO/MFA, and data masking
• Optimize performance and cost by tuning virtual warehouses and managing micro‑partitions
• Guide technical teams on architecture patterns, migration approaches, and production readiness
• Develop proofs of concept and reusable reference architectures
• Provide training and mentorship to technical teams

What you’ll bring

• 8-15 years experience in data and analytics architecture
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake features and optimization
• Strong SQL skills for complex queries and stored procedures
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud services
• Expertise in data modeling and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Implementing role‑based access control and security standards
• SnowPro Core or Advanced Architect certification preferred
