About the role
NI FN BBD team at Nokia drives technical vision and architecture for the Business Unit, creating scalable embedded telecom solutions. The Product Architect translates market and customer requirements into solution designs, leads architecture reviews, mentors development teams, and ensures cloud platform alignment. Hybrid work model based in India, 3 days onsite.
What you’ll do
- Translate business and product requirements into detailed solution architecture
- Guide configuration of cloud services and platform components with DevOps teams
- Evaluate and update cloud components and frameworks for scalability
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision‑making
- Troubleshoot architecture‑level performance and scalability issues
- Conduct proof‑of‑concept evaluations for new tools and services
- Mentor development teams on architectural best practices
- Maintain architecture documentation and stakeholder visibility
What you’ll bring
- 10 years experience developing cloud‑based microservices applications
- Experience with Spring Boot and Java 8+
- Telecom domain experience (BSS/OSS) or large‑scale enterprise platforms
- Designing highly scalable architectures
- Solution architect role for 5+ years
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Experience with distributed caches (Hazelcast, Redis)
- Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
