About the role

JLL's Global Corporate Strategy team drives transformative revenue growth and shareholder value across commercial real estate markets. The Senior Specialist supports this mission by conducting competitive intelligence, market research, and strategic analysis to identify white spaces and M&A opportunities. This remote role is based in Gurugram, HR.

What you’ll do

  • Research and analyze JLL's competitive landscape and competitor activity
  • Synthesize company and competitor research into executive-level deliverables
  • Identify potential M&A targets and strategic partners
  • Conduct primary research including expert interviews and surveys
  • Support broader strategy team projects involving industry research
  • Build long lists of peers or competitors through desk research and databases
  • Analyze impact of announced acquisitions or partnerships by competitors
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Corporate Strategy and across JLL

What you’ll bring

  • 7-10 years experience in strategy, market research, competitive intelligence, or top-tier consulting
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, computer science, or related field
  • Proficiency in market sizing, trend analysis, sector studies, and competitive intelligence
  • Expertise with research databases like PitchBook, D&B Hoovers, Cap IQ, Preqin, AlphaSense, and Factiva

Nice to have

  • MBA or Master's degree in a similar field
  • Experience in Excel modeling and advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong interest or expertise in real estate and technology industries
  • Global business experience working in multinationals
