Senior Consultant Project Management, Land Services PMO

About the role

Land Services PMO team at WSP drives delivery of major UK infrastructure programmes across aviation, highways, rail, energy and water sectors. The Senior Consultant leads PMO workstreams, provides strategic support to Project Managers and Directors, and advances best‑practice methodologies, digital tools and knowledge sharing. Based in Noida, India, hybrid work model with on‑site collaboration as needed.

What you’ll do

• Independently manage PMO activities for assigned projects and programmes
• Develop and maintain project schedules, progress reports and performance dashboards
• Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and produce EVM reporting
• Coordinate information flow between project teams, managers and UK stakeholders
• Support implementation of digital PMO tools and reporting solutions
• Provide guidance and day‑to‑day support to junior PMO team members

What you’ll bring

• 7–10 years of experience in Project Controls, PMO, Project Management Support, or Programme Management
• Experience supporting medium to large infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and governance principles
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Primavera P6 and Power BI
• Practical knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement skills

Nice to have

• Masters in Construction Management, Project Management or Business Management (preferred)
• Professional certification such as PMP, APM PMQ, ChPP or equivalent
• Membership of PMI, APM or equivalent professional body

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil/Mechanical)
