About the role
Revenue team at MongoDB drives accurate financial reporting of revenue streams. The Senior Specialist leads month‑end close, revenue recognition, and reconciliations while analyzing sales data in NetSuite and Salesforce. Based in Gurugram office, on‑site work model, with cross‑functional partnership across GL, OTC, and Business Systems.
What you’ll do
- Own month‑end close activities and cash analyses
- Review and validate sales transactions for revenue accuracy
- Perform revenue recognition and deferred revenue reconciliations
- Prepare executive‑level analytics and presentations
- Partner with GL, OTC, and Business Systems to resolve issues
- Assist internal and external audit workpapers and processes
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years revenue accounting experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
- Experience with NetSuite ERP
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- SaaS industry background
- SOX‑controlled environment experience
