About the role
Digital Supply Chain team at AstraZeneca transforms global therapy delivery through SAP solutions. The Lead Consultant drives end‑to‑end SAP EWM design, configuration, integration and AI‑enabled automation across warehouses, coaching a team of consultants to deliver scalable, compliant operations. Based in Chennai, India, on‑site role with hybrid collaboration across global partners.
What you’ll do
- Own vision and roadmap for SAP EWM across sites
- Lead design, configuration, testing, deployment and hypercare
- Drive Agile delivery across multiple workstreams
- Orchestrate integration with MM, PP, QM, SD, TM
- Plan and execute data migration ensuring data integrity
- Coach and develop EWM consulting team
- Identify and implement automation and AI productivity gains
- Engage stakeholders through workshops and requirement capture
What you’ll bring
- 12+ years SAP EWM consulting
- Certification in SAP S/4HANA EWM
- Led technical team of 5+ consultants
- Experience with decentralised EWM implementation
- Proficient in integration with MM, PP, QM, SD, TM
- Hands‑on SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit usage
- Automation using AI tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT)
- Pharmaceutical supply chain domain knowledge
