About the role

ZEISS India (Bangalore) seeks a Workday Senior Consultant to lead end‑to‑end management, configuration and optimization of Workday HCM, Recruiting and related modules. The role provides daily support, performs release impact analysis, mass data uploads, UAT coordination and collaborates with functional leads and global teams to improve HR processes. Bangalore, hybrid – three days onsite per week, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

Provide daily support across Workday modules and troubleshoot issues
Engage with functional leads and global teams to recommend solutions
Perform release impact analysis and support regression testing
Prepare and execute mass data uploads ensuring accuracy
Collaborate on UAT and ensure alignment with requirements
Maintain compliance with data privacy and security standards
Document technical specifications and project deliverables
Identify process improvement opportunities and propose system enhancements

What you’ll bring

4-6 years Workday HCM Core and Recruiting experience
Workday certification in HCM, Recruiting (optional T&P)
Experience with Workday Business Process Framework
Proficiency in Workday security roles and permissions
Ability to configure and optimize Business Processes
Experience with Workday reporting and dashboards
Skill in mass data uploads using EIBs
Strong understanding of Hire‑to‑Retire lifecycle
