Senior System Software Engineer - HW/SW Co

About the role

HW/SW Co-Design team at Analog Devices builds integrated IP blocks that bridge hardware and software. The role owns the software perspective for each block, co‑designing register maps, interrupt schemes, and DMA interfaces with hardware engineers, and prototyping firmware on virtual platforms. Based in Bangalore, India, the position requires onsite presence with occasional travel.

What you’ll do

• Own software design for IP blocks
• Co‑define hardware/software interfaces
• Prototype firmware on virtual platforms
• Review RTL and micro‑architecture
• Develop driver prototypes
• Assess debug and observability
• Document programming guides
• Collaborate across IP blocks

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years embedded software
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Experience with device drivers or HALs
• Knowledge of register maps, DMA, AXI/AHB/APB
• RTL reading skills
• SystemC familiarity
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
