About the role

What you’ll do
- Design and implement physical database structures and schemas
- Monitor and tune database performance using tools like EXPLAIN
- Develop and manage backup, recovery, and HADR strategies
- Manage user roles, permissions, and ensure audit compliance
- Apply patches, perform version upgrades, and migrations
- Provide 24/7 troubleshooting and production issue resolution
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years DB2 administration experience
- Proficiency with DB2 LUW and z/OS
- Performance tuning and SQL optimization
