About the role
Finance & Accounting team at Northgate Information Solutions oversees financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning. The Finance Manager leads routine accounting activities, GL management, SAP PS/FI integration, and drives process automation while mentoring staff. Based in Mumbai, Airoli and Bangalore, India, this is an on-site role with standard APAC shift hours.
What you’ll do
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Supervise GL entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Manage vendor payments, customer collections, and AP/AR functions
- Lead SAP PS/FI integration and revenue recognition projects
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to operations
- Prepare customized reports for senior management
- Mentor finance staff and drive process automation
What you’ll bring
- 11-16 years experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
- SAP Finance and SAP PS expertise
- Project system integration with FI/CO
- AP, AR, and RTR process management
- Inventory, fixed assets, depreciation handling
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- MBA or Cost Accountant preferred
