About the role
This Actuarial Analyst role sits within a global team of over 100 risk consultants, delivering actuarial model-based insurance optimisation and captive optimisation advice to corporate clients worldwide. Day-to-day work involves developing bespoke, often complex actuarial models, expanding modelling capabilities, and applying innovation and problem-solving to client engagements. The position is based in Thane, Maharashtra, India.
What you’ll do
- Provide actuarial model-based insurance optimisation advice to a wide range of corporate clients globally
- Deliver captive optimisation advice to corporate clients
- Develop bespoke and often complex actuarial models for clients
- Grow the depth and breadth of actuarial modelling capabilities
- Apply innovation and problem-solving to client modelling challenges
What you’ll bring
- Graduation in Mathematics and Statistics stream
- 0-2 years of experience in the Actuarial domain
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of R/R Shiny
- Working knowledge of Python
- Working knowledge of Power BI
- Familiarity with RADAR and Igloo
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
