Senior Data Security Specialist

About the role

Data Security team at Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX Company, safeguards global data assets by implementing and managing data security technologies. The Senior Data Security Specialist leads technical implementation of DLP, enhances threat analysis processes, and develops data categorization and access controls across structured and unstructured data. Remote, India with occasional travel to multiple Indian locations, hybrid work model with on‑site visits as needed.

What you’ll do

• Implement and support data security technologies such as DLP
• Execute and improve core data security processes including threat analysis and data monitoring
• Develop data categorization and access control processes for structured and unstructured data
• Collaborate with application security team to create joint data orchestration processes
• Produce data analytics and KPI reports to ensure operational effectiveness

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in IT field
• 8 to 10 years relevant experience
• Experience using AI services in Data Security
• Security and technology certifications or equivalent
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in advanced computer applications
