About the role
Platform and Content Engineering team at NTT DATA builds and maintains the security platform that protects enterprise infrastructure. The Security Platform Engineer designs, monitors, and responds to security incidents across servers, networks, and endpoints, while mentoring the 24/7 team and automating response workflows. Hybrid role based in Hyderabad and Bangalore, India, with a blend of onsite and remote work.
What you’ll do
- Monitor security logs and performance metrics
- Detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents across multiple vectors
- Administer and maintain security tools, including patching and lifecycle management
- Document best practices, incident reports, and knowledge articles
- Identify automation opportunities to improve incident response
What you’ll bring
- Seasoned experience in security technologies (firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR, SOAR)
- Hands‑on implementation and monitoring of SIEM tools
- Experience in SOC/CSIRT operations and incident response
- Strong knowledge of networking, Linux and Windows environments
- Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Security certifications such as AZ‑500, SC‑200, Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM
- Networking certifications like CCNA, JNCIA, PCNSA
