Full Stack React and Java Developer

About the role

Assystem is seeking a Full Stack React and Java Developer to join its Digital entity in Gurugram, Haryana, India. The role focuses on developing and maintaining web applications using React.js for the front end and Java/J2EE for the back end, including designing APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex industrial projects, configure and manage cloud servers, and provide on-site support during development and deployment phases. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring more than 5 years of relevant experience.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js for the front end and Java for the back end
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Implement and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery
• Configure and manage servers to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in development, testing, and production environments
• Design and implement technical solutions, standards, and procedures
• Participate in software development projects using an Agile approach and provide support during development, testing, and deployment phases at a client's site

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Computer Science
• More than 5 years' experience in React, Java/J2EE web development
• Proficiency in React.js, Redux, Redux-Saga, Redux Toolkit, and custom hooks
• Proficiency in server-side languages such as Java/J2EE
• Familiarity with database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle
• Proficiency in fundamental front-end languages: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of at least one cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Excellent knowledge of English

Nice to have

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Node.js, or Vue.js
• Knowledge of Android
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• French language skills
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
