Finance & Accounting Associate

About the role

LogiNext is hiring a Finance & Accounting Associate in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to manage the efficient execution of accounting services in a fast-paced, agile environment. Day-to-day work includes entering and validating financial data, maintaining records and cash equivalents, preparing and reconciling invoices and account statements, managing accounts payable and receivables, completing period-end closing, and supporting internal and external audits. The role requires multitasking across competing priorities and producing financial, accounting, and payroll reports.

What you’ll do

• Enter and validate data, numbers, figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
• Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures
• Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers
• Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified
• Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures
• Manage accounts payable and receivables, follow-up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment in full is received or resolved

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce or related field
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance and accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoho Books, Oracle NetSuite or similar accounting software
• Proficiency in statutory and tax filings including GST, TDS, PF, PT, MLWF, ESIC, sales tax, income tax and related reconciliations
• Experience of accounting standards Indian GAAP and US GAAP
• Multitasking ability and ability to meet targeted deadlines
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
