About the role
Machine Shop Maintenance Team at Cummins ensures manufacturing equipment uptime through electrical maintenance and machine support. The role performs preventive, predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance, troubleshoots CNC and robotic systems, and updates work orders in MAXIMO. Based in Pune, Maharashtra, India, on-site work with flexibility required.
What you’ll do
- Perform day‑to‑day electrical maintenance and machine support
- Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns to maximize uptime
- Execute preventive, predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance tasks
- Update maintenance records and work orders in MAXIMO
- Monitor equipment performance indicators such as MTBF and MTTR
- Maintain 5S standards and housekeeping in the machine shop
- Support maintenance operations across all three shifts
What you’ll bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
- 3-4 years relevant maintenance experience
- Hands‑on experience with CNC machines and robots
- Knowledge of FANUC and Siemens controllers
- Experience with Siemens, Mitsubishi, B&R PLC systems
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
