About the role

SonicWall Cloud Security Team builds and scales cloud‑native security services that protect enterprises worldwide. The Senior Software Engineer designs, develops, and maintains high‑performance Python and Go microservices, REST and gRPC APIs, and integrates AWS services via boto3. Works remotely with a hybrid schedule, collaborating across globally distributed engineering teams from Pune, India.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain scalable Python and Go microservices
• Implement cloud‑native integrations on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Design and optimize distributed data pipelines and storage solutions
• Build secure communication mechanisms using mTLS, JWT, and token‑based auth
• Troubleshoot container orchestration issues in Kubernetes environments
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver security features

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years backend development with Python 3 and Go
• Experience designing REST and gRPC services
• Proficient with AWS services, especially boto3, Lambda, and EKS
• Hands‑on with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Redis, Kafka
• Experience with network device management and security fundamentals
• Agile/Scrum experience and strong problem‑solving skills
