Java Architect

About the role

Application Development and Maintenance team at Infosys builds enterprise Java solutions. The Java Architect leads solution design, creates high‑level and low‑level architecture documents, and defines microservices and serverless patterns for scalable, reliable applications. Works onsite in Bangalore, collaborating with client architects and remote teams to deliver robust Java platforms.

What you’ll do

• Define and document high‑level and low‑level system designs
• Create architectural standards and design patterns for reliability and scalability
• Guide development teams in implementing microservices and serverless solutions
• Collaborate with client architects to align solutions with business goals
• Ensure performance tuning, database design, and integration architecture
• Promote best practices in DevSecOps, logging, and monitoring
• Lead technical discussions and code reviews across distributed teams
• Support business development and client relationship building

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years Java architecture experience
• Design and implementation of microservices and API architectures
• Strong expertise in Spring, Springboot, JPA, Hibernate
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture
• Proficiency in SDLC and Agile/DevSecOps practices
• Ability to lead technical teams and mentor developers
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills
• Willingness to travel as needed
