Senior Technical Consultant, Enterprise Wireless Networking

About the role

Enterprise Networking team at AHEAD designs and implements complex enterprise network solutions, including routing, switching, BGP, wireless, and access control. The Senior Technical Consultant leads technical discovery, architecture workshops, and deployment activities, creates detailed design documentation, and mentors junior consultants. Remote work from India with occasional travel within the United States for client meetings and site surveys.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement enterprise network solutions across campus, branch, and datacenter environments
• Lead technical discovery, architecture, and design workshops for client engagements
• Develop high‑level and low‑level design documentation, implementation and test plans
• Configure, validate, and troubleshoot routing and switching platforms
• Perform wireless site surveys, predictive designs, and post‑deployment validation using Ekahau
• Deploy and support Cisco Identity Services Engine for network access control
• Provide technical leadership during implementation, migration, cutover, and optimization activities
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practices

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years designing and implementing enterprise network solutions
• CCNP certification (routing & switching)
• CWNA certification
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and wireless platforms
• Proficient in BGP design and troubleshooting
• Hands‑on Ekahau wireless site surveys
• Deploy and support Cisco ISE
• Strong consulting and communication skills
