HR Intern + Trainee

About the role

Sigmoid is a data and analytics consulting firm that helps Fortune 1000 companies transform their businesses through modern data architectures, cloud, and AI/ML. This HR Intern + Trainee role supports the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team in Bengaluru with day-to-day HR operations, people initiatives, and employee lifecycle activities. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to core HR processes, stakeholder management, onboarding, performance cycles, and employee engagement coordination.

What you’ll do

• Support onboarding, probation, and confirmation processes
• Assist with HR data tracking, reporting, and maintenance of HR records
• Coordinate new joiner sessions, employee connect initiatives, and HR events
• Support performance management and appraisal cycles, including data collation and follow-up
• Assist with employee communications, documentation, and adherence to HR policies
• Support execution of employee engagement activities
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including managers, employees, and HR team members
