Senior BAPM Manager, Information Technology

About the role

The Sr. BAPM Manager, Information Technology role at CITIC CLSA in Pune focuses on designing and delivering compliance technology solutions that support regulatory and operational objectives. Day-to-day work includes gathering business requirements, conducting gap and impact analyses, preparing requirement documents and test scenarios, coordinating UAT and defect management, and managing the end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation through post-implementation support. The role collaborates with Compliance stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT teams to ensure solutions meet CLSA standards.

What you’ll do

• Liaise with Compliance stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and design technology solutions that support regulatory and operational objectives
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessment, and feasibility studies on business requirements, and recommend aligned technology strategies
• Prepare and maintain business requirement documents, test scenarios, and user manuals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, vendors, and internal IT teams to deliver technology solutions
• Participate in project planning, scope management, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful project delivery
• Develop, coordinate, and execute UAT plans, test cases, and defect management activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements
• QA Testing and ensure changes are rigorously tested before providing in UAT to users
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle activities from initiation, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree or above in IT, Business, or related disciplines
• 9–11 years of IT project experience in financial institutions
• Minimum 3 years in project management
• Proven exposure to Compliance technology domains, including COB, AML, trade surveillance, and regulatory reporting
• Detailed-oriented and self-motivated
• Demonstrates a strong sense of accountability, ownership, and professional discipline
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of SMARTS, LiquidMetrics, GoldTier, AxiomSL and ComplySci applications
• Good understanding of front-to-back trading / settlement flows in Investment Bank
• Experience in data analysis
