Senior IT Project Manager

About the role

Roche seeks a Senior IT Project Manager (Delivery Management Professional, SE7) in Pune to provide expert guidance on complex deliveries and drive efficiency improvements. Day-to-day work includes defining solution visions and roadmaps for large-scale initiatives, leading end-to-end technical program execution, IT service performance, SLA adherence, and ITSM process optimization, and taking accountability for cutting-edge AI and Agentic AI initiatives including model lifecycle management and governance. The role may operate within archetypes such as Project Manager, Program Manager, Service (Delivery) Manager, ITSM Process SME, Scrum Master, RTE, STE, or Agile Coach.

What you’ll bring

• Proven track record operating in a Delivery Management archetype (e.g., Program Manager, STE, Agile Coach) with extensive experience managing large-scale, complex delivery programs.
• Strong preference for technical project/program management experience and hands-on practical experience implementing AI/ML solutions (e.g., NLP, automated case processing, predictive analytics, signal
• Experience in embedding Agile best practices and leading organizational change initiatives across product lines or domains.
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with key senior stakeholders and cultivating collaboration across organizational boundaries.
• Proven experience managing operational budgets, capacity planning, and IT service performance/SLAs.
• In-depth domain knowledge in Pharmacovigilance processes or related life sciences domains, with hands-on exposure to implementing practical AI algorithms, machine learning models, or automation tools
• Expertise in leading the implementation of Agile frameworks, delivery methodologies, and other best practices.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, governance, and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive consensus on complex technical/AI solutions and navigate matrix conflicts.

Experience deploying AI solutions in related life sciences domains such as Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, or Regulatory Affairs will also be considered.
