About the role
cbs APAC seeks an experienced SAP Finance consultant to support Japan projects, with potential relocation. The role involves configuring FI modules, leading workshops, ensuring compliance with Japanese regulations, performing data migration, and contributing to pre‑sales and internal initiatives. Candidates should have 5+ years of SAP Finance experience, fluency in Japanese and English, and a strong grasp of S/4HANA implementation.
What you’ll do
- Configure SAP Finance modules to meet business needs
- Lead or support workshops using finance terminology
- Apply Japan legal, tax, reporting requirements
- Perform data migration for finance master and transactional data
- Deliver high‑quality project outcomes with cross‑functional teams
- Support pre‑sales efforts including proposals and presentations
- Contribute to internal Japan‑specific templates and documentation
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years SAP Finance functional experience
- Completed 2+ SAP S/4HANA implementations
- Strong finance process and SAP configuration knowledge
- Hands‑on data migration for finance objects
- Familiar with Japan tax and reporting rules
- Experience with Japanese clients or projects
Nice to have
- Fluent Japanese (JLPT N2) and English
- Deep understanding of SAP FI modules
- Proven data migration expertise
- Knowledge of Japan local regulations
- Pre‑sales proposal and solution experience
