Regional Operational Excellence Lead

About the role

Operational Excellence team at Johnson Matthey drives sustainable manufacturing across Asia by developing and executing operational excellence roadmaps for multiple sites. The lead partners with regional operations leaders, drives Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and builds capability through coaching and governance. Based in Bawal and Taloja, India, on-site work model with occasional travel across APAC.

What you’ll do

• Partner with APAC operations leaders to define priorities
• Develop and deliver structured operational excellence roadmap
• Lead high-impact improvement programmes across sites
• Drive adoption of JM Production System and Lean/Six Sigma
• Coach and train teams, share best practices and tools
• Collaborate cross‑functional teams to align resources
• Build and develop Operational Excellence specialist team

• Black Belt Lean Six Sigma qualification
• Proven Operational Excellence background
• Strong track record of performance improvements
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and project management skills
