About the role
SYSTRA India seeks an experienced HVAC Engineer to support design of metro and infrastructure projects across India and abroad. The role involves reviewing mechanical HVAC reports and drawings, applying engineering principles to building services, ensuring quality and environmental compliance, coordinating with MEP disciplines, and preparing design basis reports, BOQs, and cost estimates. Candidates should hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, have 5‑8 years of HVAC design experience including at least two years on metro projects, and be proficient in HAP, Revit, and standard office tools. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Noida, and requires occasional travel to project sites.
What you’ll do
- Review and verify HVAC reports and drawings for quality
- Apply mechanical HVAC engineering principles to building services
- Ensure project quality and environmental compliance
- Communicate with governmental authorities
- Coordinate with MEP services for equipment placement
- Modify drawings per architectural and structural revisions
- Prepare design basis reports and technical specifications
- Conduct complex computations and develop diagrams
- Prepare BOQ, cost estimation, and technical specifications
- Travel to project sites as required
