About the role

Specialist, Manufacturing – AI-Enabled Innovation (IVI) at Amgen India Capability Center (AIN) drives digital and data-enabled solutions across Amgen’s global manufacturing network. The role supports deployment of MES, scheduling, and performance management tools, translating manufacturing processes into system requirements and guiding solution design. Based in Hyderabad, the position works onsite with global collaboration and occasional travel to support stakeholder engagement.

What you’ll do

• Support deployment of manufacturing capabilities at sites, including MES standardization and performance management solutions
• Capture process knowledge and system requirements from site SMEs
• Translate manufacturing processes into structured system and data requirements
• Define guardrails and design principles for solution development
• Partner with technical teams to ensure solutions align with manufacturing realities
• Validate solutions for scalability and compliance with GxP and data integrity
• Contribute to solution design, prototyping, and MVP development
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to balance speed, quality, and compliance

What you’ll bring

• 8-13 years experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or manufacturing systems
• Expertise in MES or electronic batch records (e.g., PAS-X)
• Experience with finite scheduling/planning systems (e.g., SAP PP/DS, S/4HANA)
• Knowledge of manufacturing data systems, sensing, or digital dashboards
• Strong understanding of GxP environments, validation concepts and data integrity
• Ability to translate manufacturing processes into system or digital requirements
• Fluency in product management and modern delivery practices
• Experience collaborating with data engineers, developers, and UX/UI teams
