About the role

Eriez Manufacturing Stores Team ensures seamless inventory flow and regulatory compliance for its export‑oriented operations. The Assistant Manager leads EOU compliance, inventory accuracy, and cross‑functional coordination with production, logistics, and global stakeholders. Based in Chennai, India, this on‑site role drives process discipline, ERP implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Own EOU compliance, inventory control, and documentation aligned with global standards
• Manage material movement across EOU, SEZ, and DTA channels and coordinate with customs authorities
• Lead inventory accuracy initiatives, cycle counts, and variance analysis
• Implement safety, ISO 9001/45001, 5S, JIT, and continuous improvement practices
• Drive ERP/MRP implementation and digital transformation projects
• Develop and mentor the stores team while collaborating with production, quality, logistics, and finance

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years experience in stores/inventory/logistics within manufacturing
• Expertise in customs compliance and EOU/SEZ/DTA regulations
• Hands‑on ERP system experience
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management
• Strong written and verbal English communication
