About the role

Product and Test Engineering team at onsemi develops automated test equipment and hardware solutions for semiconductor products. The Engineer II defines DFT and test requirements, designs ATE hardware, conducts debug and data analysis, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams throughout silicon bring‑up and validation. Bangalore, India, on-site, hybrid schedule as needed.

What you’ll do

• Define product DFT and test requirements pre‑PG
• Translate PRD/MRDs into test plans and ATE hardware designs
• Design ATE hardware for cost‑effective multi‑site testing
• Execute silicon bring‑up, validation, and debug activities
• Run design‑of‑experiments and qualification cycles for automotive/industrial standards
• Own ATE test solutions including HW, socket, schematic, layout, and diagnostic code
• Lead creation of test specifications and standard test methods library
• Document gaps, lessons learned, and best practices with design teams

What you’ll bring

• BSEE with 1-5 years test & DFT design experience
• Proficient in C/C++, Perl, Python
• Strong communication and leadership across global teams
• Self‑driven with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational skills managing multiple tasks
