About the role

Cyber Security Office at Yext drives product and infrastructure security across the enterprise. The Senior Cloud Security Engineer leads cloud security automation, container security, and Security as Code initiatives, designing immutable controls in AWS and GCP and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Hyderabad office, on-site work model, with opportunities to shape security culture and mentor cross‑functional teams.

What you’ll do

• Lead cloud security maturity and architecture gap remediation
• Design, deploy and maintain immutable security controls as code
• Define and monitor security baselines for containerized workloads
• Integrate SAST, DAST, secret scanning into CI/CD pipelines
• Oversee cloud vulnerability scanning and remediation processes
• Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews
• Author cloud security policies and map controls to compliance frameworks

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years cloud security engineering experience
• Hands‑on AWS and/or GCP security implementations
• IaC expertise with Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi
• Container security with Kubernetes and Docker
• Security automation scripting in Python, Go, PowerShell or Bash
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2 or CIS benchmarks
• Strong communication and cross‑team collaboration
