About the role
Tax Services team at RSM provides specialized tax compliance and advisory for asset management clients. The Senior Associate prepares complex private equity, hedge fund and fund‑of‑funds partnership tax returns, reviews and analyzes filings, and conducts research on tax issues. Works directly with clients to answer questions and trains junior staff. Gurugram office, on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Prepare complex private equity, hedge fund and fund‑of‑funds partnership tax returns
- Perform detailed review and analysis of tax returns
- Research and document tax issues and conclusions
- Develop, motivate, and train staff and intern team members
- Interact directly with clients handling questions and planning
- Stay up‑to‑date on current tax practices and law changes
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting or related field
- 2-3 years experience in business taxation at Big 4 or large firm
- Eligible to sit for CPA, CA, EA or licensed JD
- Experience preparing and reviewing returns
- Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects
- Ability to work closely with clients
