About the role

OpenBMC Services / API Engineer on the OpenBMC Systems team at Mphasis. Designs and develops service-layer architecture, implements Redfish and IPMI APIs, and integrates KVM/virtual media to secure and extend BMC functionality. Bangalore, on-site, Full-time.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop OpenBMC service architecture and D-Bus interfaces
• Implement Redfish API handlers and ensure schema compliance
• Develop and test IPMI 2.0 commands and integrate LBAA/OneCLI
• Configure KVM, HTML5 console, and virtual media functionalities
• Analyze AMI BMC features and create phosphor service implementations
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineers for sensor integration and security hardening

What you’ll bring

• 4-6 years OpenBMC service architecture experience
• Redfish API implementation
• IPMI 2.0 protocol development
• KVM and remote console configuration
• BMC tools proficiency
• ASPEED AST2700 KVM/display pipeline (preferred)
• LDAP/Active Directory integration (preferred)
• React JS for API wiring (preferred)
